CL-014: Equal Employment Opportunity Diversity Fundamentals
 
Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Fundamentals (EEODF) is training for managers and supervisors ONLY. North Carolina State Law mandates that all managers and supervisors promoted or hired on or after July 1, 1991 attend Equal Employment Opportunity Training. This course focuses on Federal and State EEO laws, anti-discrimination practices, and the values of diversity in the workplace. EEODF consists of 3.5 hours of online training, an online final assessment and a one-day instructor-led classroom session. You cannot attend the in-class session before you complete the online modules and final assessment test.

Once you have completed the online sessions and a score of 70 or above on the final assessment test, you will need to register for the classroom instruction.  Linda Mangum, Office of Employee Relations, will receive confirmation that you have registered.

This course is designed with the latest information needed to help managers and supervisors understand federal and state equal employment opportunity/affirmative action laws in the context of daily work situations.
