Organized into 7 modules, Banner Finance Training Online introduces you to the university?s chart of accounts, forms, and terminology used to convey business transactions, financial reporting, and record keeping in the Banner environment. After seeing how to navigate Banner, you will learn about how forms are named and organized, their application, and how to locate financial data regarding projects, funds, organizations, accounts, and programs. The most common Banner forms are reviewed in detail, along with instructions on how to access each form. Resources, such an online glossary and most-used non-Banner finance forms are also included in the course. Forms and charts may be downloaded to your computer. More

The Groups function allows students to collaborate and establish closer relationships with other members of the group. Faculty can create a Single Group with either manual enroll or a self-enroll option or they can create a Group Set. A Group Set allows for several enrollment options: self-enrollment, manual enrollment or random enrollment. Group members also have access to a variety of collaboration tools that faculty can enable. The enhanced Groups tool allows instructor to view and manage group membership more conveniently than ever before.

Interested in an easy way to track attendance for your classes? The new Qwickly Attendance tool will allow you to take attendance that can be stored and graded in Blackboard. Qwickly Attendance will automatically create one Bb Grade Center column and keep a running attendance grade for the whole semester. Faculty can send absentee emails to students and students can be allowed to "check-in" to class and record their attendance. More
