Banner Finance Online
 
Organized into 7 modules, Banner Finance Training Online introduces you to the university?s chart of accounts, forms, and terminology used to convey business transactions, financial reporting, and record keeping in the Banner environment. After seeing how to navigate Banner, you will learn about how forms are named and organized, their application, and how to locate financial data regarding projects, funds, organizations, accounts, and programs. The most common Banner forms are reviewed in detail, along with instructions on how to access each form. Resources, such an online glossary and most-used non-Banner finance forms are also included in the course. Forms and charts may be downloaded to your computer. More

This is the online portion of the Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Fundamentals training. Throughout this series of modules and curriculum, we will introduce terms, definitions, ideas and concepts that relate to Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity in the North Carolina State Government workplace as well as examine the social and legal history behind EEO in the United States of America. We will also discuss the role of human resource professionals, employees, supervisors and managers in establishing and maintaining a workplace where all individuals are valued and provided opportunities to make their greatest contributions. The goal of this training is to provide guidance that will assist state government managers and supervisors in developing or maintaining "Best Practices" for working in a diverse environment and to help them engage in legally defensible employment practices that create and maintain a fair, equitable and inclusive workplace. North Carolina State Law mandates that all managers and supervisors promoted or hired on or after July 1, 1991 attend Equal Employment Opportunity Training. Aggie Mart New Shopper/Requisitioner Training Online
 
This workshop will provide participants with the basic fundamentals necessary to create a cart or a requisition in AGGIE-MART by shopping from the vendors website, an online catalog, or using a quote provided from the vendor. Individuals that register to take the course to be requisitioners must have a Banner Finance username and access to the Banner funds that will be used to create requisitions. Shoppers (only) do not require a Banner Finance username. More

Committing violent acts, whether on-duty or off-duty, has the potential to influence an employee's ability to perform their job. This workshop will look at the University's Workplace Violence Policy that was implemented by the guidance of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
